they said love was complicated.

Another rant. They're so fun!! I think I'll do them more often.

Okay, so the roads in Tropicana have been resurfaced this past week. And while it's good and everything as smoother roads ensure smoother drives, there's something that they do that just does NOT make sense to me.

You see, the thing is that when the resurface the road they basically just put on another layer of tar to smoothen out the road. So that means each time they resurface the road, their adding another inch. Obviously that means the roads become thicker or rather higher each time they do it. As we all know, there are manholes on the road here in Malaysia that have to be so conveniently located smack in the middle of the road.

When they put tar on the road they can't put tar on top on the manhole right? So you know what that means?? That each time they resurface the road, the manholes become deeper and deeper. Which also means that the bump is REALLY big if you don't avoid driving over the manhole.

What's the point of resurfacing the road then? While it may have lessened the number of port holes, the manholes have just become deeper.

So yeah, why can't they find a way to not make the roads higher? I mean, they could always remove the old tar then only put the new tar on right? But I guess it would be too troublesome and it'd cost more. And we all know that money is far more important than a safe smooth drive in the neighbourhood.

As a side note. Chem paper was strange today.
