Marry Christmas?

Just got back from Australia a couple of hours ago. The trip was okay. Quite colt and rainy despite it being the middle of summer. Will do a full update once I get the camera.

Until then,

Take it to the grave.

Was bored so I checked out the Twilight website to see if there were any developments on the movie front.

They have already confirmed the actor portraying Edward and the actress portraying Bella.

To all Twilight fans, I think you will be very disappointed. I know I was.

This is your Edward.
Robert Pattison.

How could they!!! He's nothing like Edward!!! Looks more of a drunk. Boohoo.

At least in Harry Potter he looked better.
Cedric Diggory.

This is my Edward.
Gaspard Ulliel. Isn't he just the perfect picture of a suave vampire?

Bella is better though. I would never have thought of her but I think she does fit the part.
Kristen Stewart. Though she does look a little old.

Can't wait for the movie to come out though I'll probably be complaining about it as books to movies usually suck. With the exception of Lord of the Rings.

Cause everytime that I try.

So it's been a week since I last updated.

On Saturday had a birthday thing at my house.

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday passed by in a flash.

Then on Wednesday got picked up by Jessie and we slept over at Aleena's place.

Let's just say that even though it's a sleepover, nobody actually got much sleep.

Half a bottle of JD and 1 and a half bottles of Johnnie Walker make for a pretty amusing party. Just goes to show how a 'high' tolerance of alcohol some people have.

Around 12, me, Melissa and Trixie went over to Curve to watch Alvin & the Chipmunks.

I want a talking chipmunk too!!!
They are just so CUTE.

Came back home around 4.30.

Then at 6.30 Melissa picked me up and we went to Shangri-la for dinner. Me and Melissa ate so much seeing as we were there an hour earlier than Trixie and Hooi Shan. Then Aleena joined us after playing at the KDU prom. Sat at the Lounge till 11.30 then followed Melissa home.

So after 2 tiring days with only 2/3 hours worth of sleep. I came home and crashed.

And today I woke the latest I have in my entire life.

1 pm.

So it may not sound so late to some of you but it is quite late for me. Seeing as the latest I wake up is 11.30/12.

Off to Australia on Monday where I will burn!!

CHRISTMAS

Here are some vidoes to get you into the holiday mood. =P

5 ways to improve Santa and Christmas
height="355">

12 days of Christmas This is so totally funny.

The night Santa went crazy

That's all for now.

Finishing it.

Just updating on all that happened last week.

Joel's party
It was at Greg's place cause there was a pool. It was okay. Typical pool party with lots of yelling and throwing people into the pool.

Class party 2
At Jun Lin's place. Ended up more of a Jun Lin's party as we didn't use the class fund. I went there late so I got the chance to scare Ian cause they were watching 30 days of night. Haha.
Ian does not know how to open a wine bottle.

Then we played 'I never-drinking game'. The girls only though.

Genna's party
Wednesday was Genna's party. Me, Trixie & Puiyi went to watch Peter Pan at Istana Budaya so we were late. Peter Pan was just so-so. They had just finished playing this game where 40 or so small fishes were dumped into the swimming and people had to catch as many as possible. Not all were found. Instead of letting them die in chlorine water, me, Puiyi & Amelia had a search and rescue.
Here fishy fishy.
We managed to save 6 little fishies.
And then we played this game. It involved frozen vegetables, flour, apricots, baked beans and maggots. The objective was to transfer 2 apricots from one basin to another.
The final stage.
A closer look.
Puiyi, Melissa & I were one team. And we all managed to do it twice.

Year-end party.
Tricia organized a year end party for all the form 4's as some people were leaving for Australia. At Valencia club house. The most interesting part was this game that U-Jin came up with. It's called the 'Ace of Spades'. Whoever has the Ace of Spades controls the round and can 2 other players to do anything. Let's just say it was very interesting.

That's about it last week.

Long overdue.

Just a quick long overdue update. Won't make it very long as I'm sure other ppl's blogs would have all it's details already.

KK trip
The trip did not live up to expectations. We spent like 3/4 of the time sleeping on the bus. The hotels were pretty nice though considering it was a school trip.

Mae Yeen's party
It was at Passion. My dad was pretty skeptical about letting me go as it's a club. But in the end he let me go anyway. The party would have been really great except for the fact some people couldn't come because of the 'illegal gathering'. The town was pretty jammed as many roads were blocked. Parents made me leave early so I could go for dinner with them. Went to Nerovivo.

Last day of school/Richard's party
It didn't feel like the last day at all. Saw rats getting dissected. Played 'hide & seek' with Mr. Yow. hahahaha. Watched football matches. Went to Richard's house after school. Ate then walked over to 1U. Watched Beowulf. It was a pretty okay movie but definitely not for children even though it's animated.

Class party 1
At Kok Wai's house. Our class bought 10 pizzas and 40 Big Apple donuts. And at the end of the night, 19 teenagers finished it all. Got to Kok Wai's house around 5.30. Ate till 6 something then some of us watched Goal 2 while the others went up to play a card game. After the movie everyone went up to join the game. Let's just say the game + alcohol combination is pretty hilarious. Went home at 11.30.

Will update on last weeks activities late this afternoon as quite lazy now.

Old habits die hard.

After 3 weeks of not Internet, I am back online!!!

There was something wrong with my connection so I was deprived of the net for 3 weeks. Thankfully it's all up and running now.

The past week had been hectic.

saturday-class party. monday-joel's party. tuesday-class party 2. wednesday-genna's party. thursday- year end party. today- went to pavillion.

Next week is not quite so hectic.

monday- hopefully go pavillion again. thursday- amelia's party.

I'll have a proper update tomorrow. Right now I'm just too damn tired.

No more sleepless nights.

After 2 weeks on intensive practice and practically living in school, P & A night is over!! It's sad to know that next year we won't be able to join. Screw SPM la...

The performers were supposed to be let off at 11 but as usual we got delayed and only went back at 12.30. Amanda came home with me as her house is too far away. Went to Tropicana Clubhouse to eat and do hair. Got back at school around 5.30. Just hung around till the thing started. Took the award then started getting ready for Pirates. After intermission then all the swearing and stuff started. Backstage for the medley was like a WARZONE. Everyone was like F*** where's my costume. Quite funny actually. Thank goodness I pulled out of Cats of I'd have to practice quick changing. Mission went well enough. And then it was the end. It's so sad how it all ends so fast. In the blink of an eye form 4 is over.

Look at our cool 'hooks'. Jia Lik's one is a bit too straight though.
Don't mess with us.

I would have more pictures. But my sis is such a camwhore that she hogs the camera. Was thinking of getting a new one for myself. Any suggestions?

That was Friday. On Saturday, woke up to go for French. I was like half asleep in class. Then had to go tighten my braces. My orthodontist says 6 more months and my teeth should be fine. Then at night went to Midvalley. As it was MYF's last CG meeting, my CG went bowling. It was quite fun despite me being really bad at it as the bowling was glow in the dark. Hung around with Mei Yan, Bel, Brian, Jay, Dion & Zhi Yang till 9 when my mummy came to fetch me. Had lots of laughs.

There's actually a lot more I'd like to type but I have to get ready for a open house and pack for the KK trip.

ARGH!! I've never been so unprepared for a trip before.

Abolish divorce, stay single.

As everyone knows, tomorrow is P & A night. Have been staying back in school till 7 for the past 2 days. But didn't really do anything as it was mainly the Cats who practiced. So me, Jia and Amanda fooled around with the costumes.

I am Siamese, if you please.
Amanda: 'What do you want?'
(My finger looks funny.)
Me & Amanda: Good!!
Jon: I wonder how far it can reach. =P
Look carefully at their fingers. Which one is the highest?
Me big chief.

Have to go to sleep now....tomorrow's the big day!!

Actually there's a lot more I wanna type but my eyelids just don't want to stay open. Will type it all out this weekend.

I finally have my last Lit. book!!

An Inspector Calls by J. B Priestly.

I was pretty pissed at my dad for not letting me KLCC yesterday to get this book but he came back today with the book. So everything's okay. The book was actually quite hard to find. I mean, going into so many bookshops and finding that all didn't carry the book was pretty annoying. The woman at Silverfish even told my mum that if Kinokuniya didn't have the book, the only other place that would have it is in Singapore. Luckily it was available there.

And when my dad came into my room, he saw Mae Yeen's invitation and was like WHOSE party is this at Passion? Cause apparently Passion is a drinking place. But since it's in the afternoon I don't think any drinking will be going on.

YLDP is on the 5th of December and my dad wants me and my sis to go. So if anyone is going, drop a line so I won't be so sesat alone if people I know are going.

Meanie.

As all you people know, Performance & Awards Night is this friday. It feels like finals were ages ago when in truth it was only a week back. I think this is the first time that I've practically lived in school. Practice on weekdays will 5, practice on weekends from 10 to 5. I've never spent so much time in school. It had all better be worth it on friday.

I mean, can you imagine if someone screws up and the whole thing is a flop? All our effort and time would have gone to waste then.

Hopefully my parents let me go bowling with the MYF ppl on saturday night. People in church are so different from people in school. I don't know how to describe it but it's different nonetheless.

Then off to KK on monday!! What a packed week.

I feel so mean now.

Depreaciating asset.

Didn't go to school today as my ankle is swollen, I have a cold and my voice is going.
It feels so nice not to go to school. =p.

Just a little something for fun.

N.Y. Woman's Question:
What am I doing wrong?
Okay, I'm tired of beating around the bush. I'm a beautiful (spectacularly beautiful) 25 year old girl. I'm articulate and classy. I'm not from New York . I'm looking to get married to a guy who makes at least half a million a year. I know how that sounds, but keep in mind that a million a year is middle class in New York City, so I don't think I'm overreaching at all.

Are there any guys who make 500K or more on this board? Any wives? Could you send me some tips? I dated a business man who makes average around 200 - 250. But that's where I seem to hit a roadblock. 250,000 won't get me to central park west. I know a woman in my yoga class who was married to an investment banker and lives in Tribeca, and she's not as pretty as I am, nor is she a great genius. So what is she doing right? How do I get to her level?

Here are my questions specifically:

- Where do you single rich men hang out? Give me specifics- bars, restaurants, gyms
-What are you looking for in a mate? Be honest guys, you won't hurt my
feelings
-Is there an age range I should be targeting (I'm 25)?
- Why are some of the women living lavish lifestyles on the upper east side so plain? I've seen really 'plain jane' boring types who have nothing to offer married to incredibly wealthy guys. I've seen drop dead gorgeous girls in singles bars in the east village. What's the story there?
- Jobs I should look out for? Everyone knows - lawyer, investment banker, doctor. How much do those guys really make? And where do they hang out? Where do the hedge fund guys hang out?
- How you decide marriage vs. just a girlfriend? I am looking for MARRIAGE ONLY

Please hold your insults - I'm putting myself out there in an honest way. Most beautiful women are superficial; at least I'm being up front about it. I wouldn't be searching for these kind of guys if I wasn't able to match them - in looks, culture, sophistication, and keeping a nice home and hearth.

Answer from Rob Campbell:

I read your posting with great interest and have thought meaningfully about your dilemma. I offer the following analysis of your predicament. Firstly, I'm not wasting your time, I qualify as a guy who fits your bill; that is I make more than $500K per year. That said here's how I see it.
Your offer, from the prospective of a guy like me, is plain and simple a cr@ppy business deal. Here's why. Cutting through all the B.S., what you suggest is a simple trade: you bring your looks to the party and I bring my money. Fine, simple. But here's the rub, your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity...in fact, it is very likely that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won't be getting any more beautiful!

So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning asset. Not only are you a depreciating asset, your depreciation accelerates! Let me explain, you're 25 now and will likely stay pretty hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 35 stick a fork in you!

So in Wall Street terms, we would call you a trading position, not a buy and hold...hence the rub...marriage. It doesn't make good business sense to "buy you" (which is what you're asking) so I'd rather lease. In case you think I'm being cruel, I would say the following. If my money were to go away, so would you, so when your beauty fades I need an out. It's as simple as that. So a deal that makes sense is dating, not marriage.

Separately, I was taught early in my career about efficient markets. So, I wonder why a girl as "articulate, classy and spectacularly beautiful" as you has been unable to find your sugar daddy. I find it hard to believe that if you are as gorgeous as you say you are that the $500K hasn't found you, if not only for a tryout.

By the way, you could always find a way to make your own money and then we wouldn't need to have this difficult conversation.
With all that said, I must say you're going about it the right way. Classic "pump and dump."
I hope this is helpful, and if you want to enter into some sort of lease, let me know.

Chemistry.

Ivan & Allison routine

Love the routines.

Call me a dreamer but I hope one day I'll be able to dance like that. (Not that I'm much of a dancer).

With the amount of chemistry they have between them. *Sighs*

They're not even dating and they have so much chemistry between them.

Twin towers.

You know, I always thought the Twin Towers were designed by a Malaysian architect.
I was wrong. An Argentinian actually designed it : Cesar Pelli.

He is 81 years old this year and still designing. He was 72 when he designed the Twin Towers.

Here are pics of where he got his inspiration from.

Similar much?
Except this looks much cooler.
