peter pan is miles away.

So some time back Stephenie Meyer striked a deal with Jack's Mannequin to help produce one of their music videos. If you don't know, Jack's Mannequin is an awesome band who has nice songs. Of which my favourites are 'Kill the Messenger' and 'Last Straw'.

Anyway, the video Stephenie Meyer helped in producing is called 'The Resolution'.
And in case you were wondering, there are no vampires and werewolves in it. There is a mermaid though.

Below is the music video. Enjoy.

crashing down on me.

So was watching 'The Nanny' just now. You know, the really old TV series where there's a nanny called Fran who has a horribly nasal voice who works for a Broadway producer called Maxwell?

Here's their logo/picture thingy.

Anyway, I always find the show hilarious and love watching it whenever it's on.

There was a moment in the show I watched today where Fran gets proposed to by this French guy. She goes and tells Maxwell that she knew that something was up the moment the French guy started saying "Shut the door! Shut the door!". This is so funny why? Because the French guy was actually saying "J'adore! J'adore!" which basically means "I adore you! I adore you!".

Haha. Only Fran could think like that.

took the risk.

Do you want a guaranteed scholarship to any college/university or your choice?

No interview needed.

All you need to do is ask for it.

Well then, apply for the MAPA scholarship!!

All you have to do is ask you mama (mother) and papa (father).

Haha. Quite funny no? Heard it from my sister today.

unstolen.

I slept at 8 last night and here I am waking up at 4 in the morning to go online.

What is wrong with me????

deja vu.

You know what happened just now!? *Hehe. Interrobang*

My maid came up to my room and said there was a huge crocodile in the living. So obviously me and weng yan went down to see. When I saw it I thought it looked more like an iguana. So called mum to tell her. She told us to get security seeing as the thing was under the sofa and not moving.

Then I went up seeing as I thought it'll all be okay. Not too long after, my sister came up and said that IT'S A SNAKE. FREAKING HUGE SOMEMORE.

Naturally I was quite freaked out. Went down to wait for security to catch it as wanted to see it. So the guy came and when he saw it he also said it's very big till he took a picture of it. And you must remember the security people have done this a lot. So if he says it's huge, you know it's HUGE.

So the guy started to poke it to come out. It then started to RUN around. Weng yan were freaking scared. Finally it was caught though. It was actually just a huge lizard.

Pictures.

Look at it's claws.

The tail is so long!!

Hope it never happens again. Scared the hell out of me.

come what may.

I really need to learn to sleep earlier. When did sleeping after 1 become normal for me??

And to Amanda Ooi a.k.a Shih Tzu,

I DO NOT to need to a fullstop to all the commas because I put the fullstop there 5 years ago and started a new paragraph.

But maybe it's time to change some other question marks to fullstops?

dream or nightmare?

Prom brings out the worst and best in people.

And so far, I've seen more 'worst' than 'best'. Sometimes you wonder why people are so immature about things.

Anyway,

Sri KDU Senior Prom 2008

Venue: Sime Darby Convention Centre
Date: 9th December 2008 (Tuesday)
Ticket Price: RM155 or RM150 (Can't really remember)

I wasn't planning on going. But I've changed my mind. And I ENCOURAGE everyone else to go to. Doesn't matter what the place is or how much it costs or even what kind or entertainment we get. All that matters is that we get to spend time together with friends.

Also, who cares what prom is like when we can have an even better AFTER PARTY!!!

A B C of growing up.

If there is ever a type of dance I'd LOVE to learn is ballroom dancing. Especially the tango. It's like in a lot of romantic dance movies, the main couple has a dance together where you can feel their passion and love, and it's always the tango. But I highly doubt I'll learn it seeing as you'd have to have a partner and I think it'd be quite hard to find one.

Anyway, here are a few tango videos that I like.

Another Cinderella Story. *I love her footwork!!*

fine, fine line.

You know what I hate most??

People who think that the entire world revolves around them and that everyone should bow down and kiss their feet.

People who think that their lives are more important than everyone elses.

People who love to make jokes and laugh at others and when you make a joke in return they throw a hissy fit.

People who have no respect for people older than them and love to use brute strength to imtimidate and bully others.

People who purposely act a certain to get what they want. And always get it cause everyone thinks that they need attention and that all they do is just a cry for attention when actually that stupid person knows exactly what they're doing to wind people around their finger.

Guess what? One person in my house is all of those rolled into one.

You know what????

The release date for TWILIGHT is out. Not the exact one but the estimated date.

Just take a wild guess. A hint, it's not in 2008.

Instead, it's

So fustrated!! I'm totally going somewhere else to watch it. There is no way I'm waiting till next year for it.

hope for the hopeless.

Okay, so recently, we did a couple of Chemistry experiments. My favourite part of Chemistry by far. We made some soap and composite materials.

My little piece of soap. And by little I mean little. Probably the size of a 50 sen coin.

Composite material. Borax and PVA glue and food colouring.
It was fun to play with. Very squishy. =D

And then it hardened in this shape ='(. Not squishy anymore.

Newspaper + PVA glue = Cardboard!! *I know it looks like crap from this side*

Looks much nicer on the other side no?

gamble everything on love.

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

Luke 12 : 22,23

So why do we worry so much?

reason and regret.

Did you know Leighton Meister a.k.a Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl is coming up with an album?

The first song released is her cover of Bette Davis Eyes.

Leighton Meister singing Bette Davis Eyes.

Her voice is different from when she's acting as Blair. Much much much lower.

Also, did you know she was born in jail??

She was raised by relatives as her mother was in federal prison for participation in a major drung-running ring. Apparently it runs in her family as her father, aunt and grandfather have all gone to jail for being involved in drugs.

staring blank ahead.

A couple of years ago I remeber a website where there were spoofs of famous songs. The spoofs were cute seeing as they were all baby related. Don't know what the website is anymore but I have found a place where all the videos are.

MUST WATCH!!! VERY CUTE!!!

Okay, so the person won't allow me to embed the video. So please click for video.

Baby Queen: We're Out of Pampers.
[We Are the Champions spoof.]

Dirty: Baby Christina.

For the rest, please click *HERE*.

P.S. Just search for baby in that channel.

next to me.

Stumbled across this tv series on youtube called 'The Chaser's War on Everything' where a group of people known as 'The Chaser' practically wage war against everything imaginable. From 'The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, Paris Hilton, blind taxi drivers and even what would life be like if it were a musical.

One the ones that I found interesting was the 'Free Money test'. One of the cast members stood on the streets somewhere in Australia and gave out 5 AUSD notes. This failed as no one would take the money. So they tried again with 50 AUSD notes. And guess what? NO ONE took it!!

People complain about inflation yet when people offer them money they reject it. Weird no?

Here's the video if you want to watch it.

the voice.

*EDIT*

Concerning release date of Twilight movie here in Malaysia, do you think it'll be the same as Singapore?

Cause then it'll be 25.12.2008 instead of the official 21.11.2008. Phillipines gets it on the 20th. Someone fly me there!!

To all Twilight fans out there, here's a little bit of news about Bella's Lullaby.

Originally Robert Pattison was suppose to write the music *Cute no? Bella's Lullaby written by the 'actual' Edward.* but now veteran film composer Carter Burwell will be writing it. Robert Pattison was actually filmed playing his own improvised composition in the scene where Edward plays Bella's Lullaby for the first time for her in his house but now they're re-filming the scene. Director Catherine Hardwicke said that Robert's music is a bit more personal and not the kind of thing he can do on demand so it didn't really suit the lullaby.

On the other hand, two of Robert Pattison's own composition will appear in the movie.

Also, here's a video based on a song that a lot of people think should be placed as Bella's Lullaby. That was before we knew someone was writing it. Nonetheless, it is a VERY nice song that would have been perfect.

ratatat.

To all the girls out there, have you ever wished you could stand and pee? Think of how much cleaner life would be? You could avoid squatting in the bushes and have a bug crawl up you when you go hiking or avoid gross toilet seat covers.

Well, now you CAN!!

There is a course where they teach all girls to stand and pee. Which is quite amusing. They are even willing to travel anywhere to teach you despite being from the US, for a fee of course.

For more information please click *HERE*.

Also, here's a video of a pair of twins playing a guitar. The same guitar at the same time. So cool right?

then I would remain.

I think I'm developing a slight obsession for vampire movies/novels. Seems like everything that I've read recently is vampire related.

'Breaking Dawn' by Stephenie Meyer.
'The Vampire Diaries' by L.J. Smith.
'Blue Bloods' by Melissa de la Cruz.
'Vampire Chronicles' by Anne Rice.
'Vampire Knight' by Matsuri Hino (manga).

Vampires are so cool. Or at least being really good looking, graceful, smart, fast and charming is.

remember everything you said.

Got back from the Merger retreat this afternoon. It was okay, nothing much seeing as it was such a short trip. Never knew that there were so many aspects that needed planning for the two services to merge.

And I swear, everytime I go to Genting View Resort, I think I stay in the same apartment. Many years ago when I was in std. 6, we went there for some workshop and I think we stayed in the exact same apartment. All church camps also in the same place. Not that I'm complaining cause the place is pretty nice but it is SO conincidental.

I've FINALLY watched 'Dark Knight'. Never had anytime during the holidays or anything so never got round to it. But Han How had the movie on his laptop so we copied it over, and watched it in the room at night. We borrowed the projector and wanted to show the movie on the wall but there was a switch in the way so we projected it up onto the ceiling. After a while everyone got too comfy lying down and fell asleep. I watched till the end and I can say that the movie was good. But I wouldn't watch it again seeing as I do not like movies that don't have happy endings.
