enterprise.

Feels like I haven't blogged in ages.

Grad Ball went well =D. Not as smoothly as I had hoped it would but I would say that the hiccups we had were pretty minor. Organizing the whole thing has been quite an experience. A lot of stress seeing as time and money were not on our side. But in the end we all pulled through. Despite running around and killing my feet, I'd say I quite enjoyed myself on the night itself.

After that, Caroline, Marcia, Anthea, Pam and Kim came back to my house for our first ever sleepover!! =). Typically, we had barely any sleep. Haha. Just spent the night talking. Quite an enlightening talk session at that. Didn't do much the next day. Breakfast or rather brunch at O'Brien's in Curve followed by some time in Borders or walking around. Honestly we all were too tired to do anything else.

Now that all that is over.

I kinda have nothing to do till August.

Other than wanting to take ballroom lessons, anyone has any suggestions?

inheritance.

My Singapore trip was so tiring.

All the walking made my feet hurt =(.

And the Great Singapore Sale is not a big deal. In fact, shopping here in Malaysia is a much better experience. The malls were way too packed for my liking.

The best part about my trip?

The visit to the Singapore Science Centre!! =D
It was so fun. I definitely recommend it to anyone who visits Singapore even if you're not really into science. Also went for the Pixar exhibition which was quite interesting. Mainly showing the history of Pixar and how all their movies were made. I think making an animated movie is so much more tiring than working with people.

Gah. Only two more days to Grad Ball and I feel like there's still so much to be done.
And the comments on the blog are annoying the hell out of me.

4D.

Guess what???

I'm DONE with exams!!!!!!

Haha.

Anyways, went to watch a movie with Caroline, Marcia, Pam and Kim. Movie we watched? The Karate Kid.

Now, I went in without much expectations as I thought the original Karate Kid was quite good and didn't really see how a remake would do it any justice.

I wouldn't say the movie was fantastic, but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I must say that Jaden Smith did a pretty good job but Jackie Chan soooo did not suit the role. The basic plot is exactly the same as the original movie except that it's in China. Also the main characters are wayy too young. I mean, who's going to start a fight over a girl when they're 12? There was also this scene where some of us were like nooooo don't do it! Cause Jaden Smith is too young to be kissing a girl.

Overall I say it's a movie worth watching even if you've watched the original Karate Kid.

Most of us know the meaning of "Wax on, wax off" right?

The new generation will now know it as "Jacket on, jacket off". Not as catchy =(.

Off to Singapore tomorrow =). What else but for the Great Singapore Sale!

What keeps your phone running?

The battery right? And what do you do when you're out of battery?

Charge it with electricity.

But what if I told you can get your phone battery to run on soft drinks?

The bio battery of the phone uses enzymes as a catalyst to generate electricity from carbohydrates(currently sugar). Once the battery dies, only oxygen and water remain.

Cool no?

cherry.

With the end of exams drawing near, it also indicates the beginning of something much bigger that almost everyone I know is excited about.

The World Cup.

Now, I have nothing against football or the people who seem to be so crazy in love with the sport.

But what I don't understand is how some people I know who NEVER bother with football on a regular basis, suddenly get so hyped up for the World Cup. Someone even told me that they hate football but because it's the World Cup they're supportive of it.

I mean, for me, so what if it only happens once every four years. Or that it involves loads of countries. I've never been a football fan so I see no reason to start now just because the rest of the world is so into it.

What's more, how do people pick a team to support? Do you actually do research to see which team you think actually has good strategies, skills or do most just go with the popular ones that they've heard of? Or for some it might even be which team has the best looking players.

Haha. No offence to any of you who jumped on the bandwagon. Just expressing some of my thoughts.

weeks.

Although this is a super old ad, I think it still applies to this very day.

That guys will always think of looks first.

Though I don't think guys say "Is she pretty?" anymore but rather "Is she hot?".

baroque.

You know what really got me into the Korean wave?

No it's not the Kpop songs.

And no it's not the Korean dramas either. Actually I've only watched one Korean drama. Boys Over Flowers.

It was their variety shows =D.

Variety shows are practically a mandatory thing for Korean stars to do if they wanna be more well known. Doesn't matter whether they're an actor, actress, solo singer, band, girl or boy group, they will at one point or another appear on a variety show to boost their popularity.

Although a lot of what is said on variety shows may have been scripted, I don't think the guests fake their personalities much. So by watching variety shows, we(the fans) get to see a little more of the real person behind the character or stage persona. Then you realise that though they may be famous, they aren't much different from us normal un-famous people. They too get angry, jealous at each other. The One Day boys(2PM and 2Am) even admitted that they got together to cry cause they were so stressed out by JYP before they debuted. Awwwwww.

My ultimate favourite show??

We Got Married =D.

You must must must must watch the Ssangchu couple. Kim Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo. They are the funniest and cutest 'couple'.

That's what made me a huge fan of Kim Hyun Joong. Not his Ji Hoo character from BOF but his sort of real self from WGM.
