crystal.

I'm not a big fan of maths.

But I will admit that maths is involved in life a lot, although we never actually learn anything practical in class.

Here's an example of how life could use maths. To calculate a person's rebound time after breaking off from a relationship =P. From a musical called "I Love You Because", a modern version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

Haha. I really wanna watch a musical now.

option.

How do you guys pick songs to stay in your iTunes(Or whatever other music player you use)?

Do you pick the songs that are catchy?
Cause you're hot then you're cold, you're yes then you're no....

Songs that will calm you down?
The world is all around us, it's much too big to see...

Or maybe songs that you hope will someday mean something more?
I'll be your crying shoulder, I'll be love's suicide...

Perhaps songs that you think would sum up your life?
I don't wanna be like Cinderella, sitting in a dark old dusty cellar...

Maybe just songs that get you dancing?
Poppin bottles in the ice, like a blizzard...

For me, it's mainly the lyrics. If the lyrics suck, the only way it stays in my iTunes is the song is sooooo catchy that I can't bear to delete it. Though after some time I do go through all my songs and delete the ones that I don't like anymore.

P.S Props to you if you could guess all the songs right without Googling the lyrics =). Answers below.

Hot N Cold by Katy Perry
The World by Earlimart
I'll Be by Edwin McCain
Cinderella by The Cheetah Girls
G6 by Far East Movement

laying flowers.

In the past two days, I've spent almost 12 hours in college. Yes, I spent more time in college than I did at home. Haha.

On Thursday stayed on till 7 cause was going to watch Kaki Blue at night with Caroline. Kaki Blue was GOOD!!!! Must watch. Seriously. The jokes are so funny cause they're all Malaysian-ised. Singing was quite good for most of the characters and acting was good too. Only downside is that the ending was way too abrupt. Like you're watching watching then suddenly it's "The End". And you're left going "What??".

Then yesterday stayed back to watch the performance by the Music Club titled "Transmusion". It was.....not bad. Clearly some performances were better than others. And you could tell who was and who wasn't comfortable in front of the crowd. Funny thing to note is that they had a couple of performances where it was Korean songs. And guess what?? I actually know and have heard of all those songs. Too much exposure to the Korean culture.

That lasted till 7 and then my mum picked me up and dropped me off at Pui Yi's. No occasion whatsoever but Marcus was cooking so some of us (Melissa, Yew Loong, Trixie & I) got invited over for dinner =). Yummy stuff. After eating went for a dip in the pool for a while before going back to Pui Yi's for dessert. Mum picked me around 11 to go home.

And now it's time to embark on a weekend of studying. Or at least attempted studying.

i'm not that girl.

Today was officially the last day that I'll ever have to remember Malaysian history ever again.

LAN test went okay.

But to let you know something funny.

You know how LAN is taught in English? There's also a BM part for the exam paper.
And I tell you, I think a lot of people flipped to the BM part when they couldn't undertsand the English part seeing as we learned sejarah in BM thus everything is programmed into us in that language.

After college went to KL PAC to watch Prom the Musical.

How it compared to when it first performed at KDU?

Well, I can safely say that the storyline and dances are better.

Singing only on some parts.

Overall it was not bad. The script inproved a lot but there are still many areas in which it could have been better.

rich woman.

Grammy's are going on now.

Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift did a duet. Why? I have not a clue. One can sing(Taylor Swift) and the other yells throughout the song(Miley Cyrus). The only thing I found in common between them is that they both dated one of the Jonas Brothers. Taylor dated Joe Jonas and Miley dated Nick.

And Katy Perry is so NOT good live. She sang 'I Kissed A Girl' and it was sooooooo bad.

Country singers are good live though.
Like no matter who they are they seem to do really well live.

can't give up.

Just got back from Ipoh.

It seems to me that I spend less and less time there every year for Christmas. I used to go back once school holidays started and only go back after Christamas. Then as years went on I'd go there a week before Christmas. But now, go on Christmas Eve and then come home on Christmas morning.

Every year my grandmother will set up the Christmas tree and I used to help her decorate it. But now she doesn't want to do it anymore cause obviously she's getting old. Then my uncle said that she'd stop putting up the Christmas tree when I get taller than it.

HAHA. I told him that she'd have to put it up forever then. Seeing as I don't think I'm going to grow much more.

Anyway,

for Mamma Mia. It was good but I thought the movie was better.

I mean, how can you beat the movie when they have Meryl Streep AND Pierce Brosnan in it??? But the guy who played Sky in the musical was better looking. Also, the guy who played Harry Bright looked VERY similar to Colin Firth who plays Harry in the movie.

Overall it was pretty good but the only thing that spoilt the night was that it was at Istana Budaya. Like seriously, the parking there is HORRIBLE!!!! We had to park so far and walk to the place. The place is supposed to be a cultural centre but they have horrible planning. Don't they ever think of the women who'd be all dressed up and in heels?? They don't even have a valet service. So if you're planning to go to Istana Budaya for a show and need to park, DO NOT wear heels.
