beauty in walking away.

Today the form 5's had a field trip. To the National Science Center & the Planetarium. I heard that the Planetarium was quite boring so I didn't expect much from the trip.

However, I did enjoy myself today. I guess having the right group of friends makes everything more enjoyable. Science Center was quite fun. Many little experiments that we actually understood seeing as it's related to our sciences. At that time, was wondering how the little primary kids find any interest in the stuff there. After all, how many little kids are going to be interested in the periodic table and cells?

After that we went over to the Planetarium. Where we watched a 'movie' in the most awesome 'theatre'. It's where instead of having a rectangular screen like the movies, the ceiling was a dome shape so we had to look up at the movie. It was quite cool. Then after that was the toilet bowl thing. Where they showed you how a toilet bowl in a space shuttle works. Everyone who sat there had such funny reactions since it was kinda like a vacuum that sucks you in. The black hole and anti gravity was quite fun too. Though it wasn't a real anti gravity room. It just gave you that feeling.

Went back to the place near school where all the food is. Ate lunch then it was back to school. Cheer till 6 again. I really hope this 4 house combine thing works.

So if anyone is interested, Sri KDU will be having their open day this saturday from 10-4. Come and see the work of FOUR cheer teams combining into one.
