that's not my name.

You know you're really a lit student when you're reading a storybook and you feel like taking up a pencil and partitioning the chapters.

I swear, that's exactly what happened to me. I was reading this book "Marshmallows for Breakfast"(which by the way is quite good), when I felt like taking up a pencil and drawing a line to show that there was a change in the chapter. Weird right. But that's what you become when you've had to partition 38 chapters of Jane Eyre.

And guess what???

I drove out alone today. =D. To fetch my brother from tennis so it was a pretty short distance. But still!! And I don't drive so slowly anymore.

dancing in the moonlight.

I admit that I fall in love with fictional characters VERY easily.

But I'm sure it's somehow related to the fact that in books, you know that there is going to be a happy ending whereas I have no idea how my very non existant love life is going to progress or whether it's stuck at rock bottom.

Ah oh well....

Anyways,

I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!!!

And no, I did not bribe. Was so super nervous bout it this morning but sort of chilled when I actually did the test. So all was well =).

the climb.

Time sometimes passes us by too fast that it seems as if we barely lived through one moment before the next one is upon us.

Yesterday went over to Aleena's for a small birthday thing. And while we were reading the letter Trixie sent(yes we missed you loads Trixie. ), Melissa saw the part where Trixie wrote 'Happy 18th Birthday'. Guess what? Melissa went "Eh, did Trixie write the wrong age?".

Hahahahahahaha.

See? We never realise just how far we have gone in life.

So we just spent our time there eating and talking. Many times one of us would start a new topic by going "Remember the time when..." and it made us seem so old. Was supposed to have slept over but due to some complications I went back with Melissa and slept there instead.

Had another driving lesson today and I must say that I'm not as scared of the road as I was last time when I first started. My test is only on the 23 though so I'm gonna be taking 4 extra lessons than most people would have taken. Meaning that I would have 18 hours instead of the usual 10.

jumping up.

Wow. I was away from home today for more than 12 hours.

Left in the morning for college. The right after class, mum picked me and sent me for my FIRST DRIVING LESSON!!!

Wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Though I was nervous as hell at the beginning that I released my clutch too fast and my car died once.

Leant all the basic stuff today. As in the hill, 3 point turn and parking. I can now do it all by myself without my instructor in the car. Luckily I didn't crash into anything.

Also went on the road once and it was WAY scary. Next lesson's on Saturday so we'll see how that goes. Then by the end of March I'll have my licence.

Went for piano right after and only now I'm home.

Dead tired.

in the middle

So after passing my undang test the next step would be to go for the 6 hour amali thing.

Which I did today. And I found more interesting than the 5 hour undang one.

3 hours spent in the classroom learning about parts of the car was pretty okay. But it got kinda boring after a time as it was basically the same thing over and over again as the guy wanted to make sure we knew the parts. And I think he has something against mechanics as he kept saying that mechanics were manipulating people who only cheat money out of us.

The next 3 hours was for the practical part. Basically we learned that we have to check certain things every week and how to change a tyre. And then the nerve wrecking part came. The driving!!!

There were 3 of us in the group. Lam, this other guy and me. I went last.

It went better than expected. Like my car only stalled once. And I can do the slope part. But not very good at stopping on the yellow line.

And who said guys were better drivers!?

The other guy in my group stalled 3-4 times whereas Lam stalled a MILLION times!! Okay not really, but it was more than 10 times. Hahahaha.

So I'm pretty pleased with myself. =D

Going back to Ipoh in a couple of hours time so no updates till I get back on Wednesday.

Until then,

game of love.

I passed my undang!!!!!

With a score of 46.

Most likely going for the 6 hour thing on Sat then my L licence will be on the way. One step closer to convenience.

Other than that there's not much more to say. Just been pretty busy with everything in life.

My blog posts are getting shorter and shorter.
