gravity.
Of all the different competitions out there, I feel that dance competitions are the toughest.
In my opinion, dance is definitely tougher than singing. Singing may require practicing but it's usually those who were born with the 'voice' that do well. Dancing however, even if you weren't born with brilliant technique, as long as you have the passion it's possible to excel in it.
So You Think You Can Dance(US) is one of my favourite shows to watch now. You can just see the amount of hard work and determination needed for a dancer to do well. Not only that, as most dances are paired, you'd also have to learn to work well with your partner.
Two of my favourite dances.
Kayla & Kupono.
Kayla is just so awesome right??
Jason & Jeanine.
So much chemistry there!!
Gah. Too bad Kupono and Jason aren't in any longer.

Just some funny yet witty quotes.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Sarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them.

Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are good is like expecting the bull not to charge because you are a vegetarian.
Answering Machine Saying: Sorry I can’t get to the phone right now because my girlfriend and I are doing our favorite thing together. Personally I like doing it up and down, while she likes doing it side-to-side r-e-a-l slow... So I’ll get back to you when we finish brushing our teeth.

let me know.
Hmm. Remember a post where I posted up the link of a website called FML?
Well apparently now there are another two websites similar to FML.
For where FML is to lament about all the bad things in one's life,
My Life Is Average ~ MLIA is for the people whose lives seem to go nowhere.
My Life is Great ~ MILG is for the people whose lives are oh so wonderful.
Quite like reading MLIA but not MLIG.

places you go.
I wonder whether the younger 'me' would be surprise to see how the now 'me' turned out.
Who I am now is nothing like who I was when I was younger.
And sometimes I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing.

gummy bears.
Finally in the mood to sit down and write.
Saturday had a Galileo gathering. Most successful one to date so props to Trixie for organizing it. People who showed up initially were Trixie, Jun Lin, Chien Wen, Jason, Darren, Malcolm, Leon, Jon, Aleena, Greg. So after some food at TGIF, we all decided to catch a movie. So what other movie could we possibly have watched except for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!! By far the best movie of the 6. I liked it =D. SO many potential fanvid moments. Not expecting most of you to understand what that meant.
But anyways, Shum and Amanda joined us after the movie. Yes I know Amanda isn't ex-Galileon but she was gonna sleep over at my place. Went for mamak after that. Third time at the same mamak in a week for me. Pui Yi and Melissa came to mamak. Melissa is practically a Galileon so she doesn't count as an outsider =P. Went home around 11 and slept for like 3 hours before waking up to go to college.
Yes, I was at college at 4.30a.m. on a Sunday. The Tree Huggers organized this jogathon called "Jog for Hope". I would say it went pretty well, bout 600+ people showed up for it. After finishing up with our job(First Aid station where all we had to do was distribute water), went to 1U for lunch with Caroline and Amanda. Had lots of laughs in our conversation as usual.
And then last night had dinner with the ballet people and Ms. Leong. Emily and Jasmin are leaving for uni soon so probably won't see them for some time. Good dinner and company. Hard to imagine that I've done ballet for 12 years of my life and now it's all done. And does anyone have any recommendations on good dance studios around Hartamas area? I wanna pick up another dance.
That's about it. Quite lazy to type anymore.
