Of alcohol, movies and camps

Let's start with camp.
Got there around 10.30. Had the opening activity which was the skit for 10 minutes. My group, 'Yahweh yellow' had to do the 10 plagues. Jon was a very good Moses. Haha. Had lunch then went over to the clubhouse for telematch. Did the blowfish and handball. Blowfish was fun, we had to do a wheelbarrow then blow a newspaper fish. But my arm hurt like crazy after that. Handball was okay. Lost in the first round as 80% of our team was under 12. And the other team had all the adults.Got 2nd place though as other adults played for our team later. Went back to the apartment after showering. You know, when I went in I realized that I've stayed there before, not only for prefect camp but in primary school for some study thing. Had icebreakers that night. Not much to say bout that.

Second day, woke up around 7 which is pretty late by my standard for a camp. But anyway, wanted to go to the river but Michelle took very long to get ready so just went for breakfast. Had a session with Wei Shen. Had lunch then the 'highlight' of the camp. Fear factor/Survival challenge. For youths only. Started out with a brain teaser asking loads of questions bout Becca, Lauren and Jason. Had to swim in the pool for answers. Was the first team to finish then went to the futsal court to do the 2nd task. Jon had to be blindfolded and we had to tell him what to draw. Next was the football thing, get 3 goals while blindfolded. Did the gurney sack race after. Then went to Jason's station. Had to stick our hands into a mixture of cornstarch and soya sauce. AND rub it in our hair. Then stuck our foot into it to take out a prune. The worse was next. Lauren and Becca's station. A mixture of flour, raw eggs, soya sauce and tomato sauce. There were 12 high sours in the mixture and we had to take it out using only our mouths. Didn't really taste that bad but it was REALLY salty. Someone puked though. Finally got the last station where we all had to memorise a sentence. 'Dear friends we are pleased to present you with our 2006/2007 gifts of hope catalogue featuring gifts that will put a smile on your face and hopes in the hearts of children and families.' Got to the finish line second. Lost to red by only a teensy weensy bit.

Talent night. Didn't do really well. The adults in our team so 'tak semangat'. Got last for that. Overall got second though. Lost by 1 point to purple but tied with red. This camp like went by so fast. Had loads of fun though.

Came back and started packing for Puiyi's b'day. Went to redbox. We all 'sang' so much. It was fun though. Then me, trixie, melissa and aleena went back to puiyi's house for a sleepover. Though you know that teenage girls never sleep at sleepovers. Watched a french movie called innocence but as only me and trixie could understand a bit, changed the movie to 'the perfect creature'. Melissa's pick. She likes vampire movies. Aleena wanted to watch the pick of destiny but we all didn't. She said it was because of the fat man. Haha. 'The perfect creature' wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. Watched 'perfume' after that. It was a good movie if a little vulgar. Okay, not little, quite vulgar. Ended up sleeping at 5. but woke up at 9. Had to leave at 11.30 as had dental appointment. Changed my braces colour to BLUE. Wanted white but then it wouldn't really show.

Went for piano rushed home to get ready for ballet. Had dinner at San Francisco Steakhouse that night. So was super tired when reached home.

The End.

After 2 long long long long weeks, I am happy to say that Mid Years are unofficially over!!!! It'll inly be officially over tomorrow. But those two papers don't really count. They are in other words UNimportant.

Going to watch Pirates of the Carribean 3 today. Wheee!!!! Hopefully it won't be too crowded. I'm not really one for crowds.

My hoilidays are going to be so packed. This Sat is Church camp. Coming back on Mon, then it's puiyi's b'day. But as my father seems to think I have boys on the brain, no hotel staying. You know, I think he would have let me go, but yan so totally spoiled his perception of girls who go to KDU. I mean, she's always on the phone, talking to or about guys. So bimbotic la. My dad must think that I'm secretly like that too and if left without supervision in a hotel might just bring a boy back. *Sighs*. My mum was okay with it though. She says she trusts me and my friends enough to know that we won't do anything wrong.

Then after that, on Friday, I'm leaving to LONDON!!!! A week with my mum. No naggy dad, no naughty brother, no annoying sisters. The original purpose of going to London was for me to see Oxford, Cambridge and LSE. As my mum says to 'motivate' me. So that I'll aim high and get a scolarship. As if. Not for Oxford or Cambridge anyway. LSE maybe. Even my dad agrees with me, he says that it'll be too much pressure at Oxford and Cambridge. And after all the depressed genius commits suicide stuff, he doesn't want to take the risk even though I'm not a genius.

But knowing me and my mum, we'll be too busy sightseeing and shopping to motivate me. Don't get me wrong, me and mum aren't shopaholics. We only really go shopping at sale times. But we've found this place called Bicester Village, and it's like a high end outlet place. Loads of top brands sell their last season's stuff at 50-70% off. Even though it's last season, if I'm able to find a nice pair of shades and jacket, I'll get it.

Going there for 9 days and arriving back on Sunday. Then it's back to skool on Monday. Not really looking forward to that as the Mid Year results would be out. And I don't think I did very well. Not in Bio, Add Maths, Chem......might as well say all the subjects. Except English. Hopefully.

P.S. LSE stands for London School Of Economics.

Camera.

Aarghh!!! The camera won't be back unless my mum/yan finds the warranty card or my mum pay the 400 ringgit. You see, couple of months ago, my very 'smart n great' sister lost the camera charger. And said it was my fault. The camera was still working though. Then the battery ran out so she asked her friend to buy a charger. Instead of buying the RM190 original canon charger, he bought a RM90 charger. When weng yan used the charger, something happened to the camera. It kept saying change battery pack. So we told my mum bout it, and when she took it to the shop, it couldn't even switch on. They said something happened to the motherboard and it would have to be sent back to cannon. Wanna noe thee most likely reason the motherboard spoiled?? Because it was thrown down or something made an impact on it.

When my mum asked weng yan bout it, she said that she didn't do anything to it. But knowing her, she probably threw it or something. I mean, her phone's screen is cracked and the phone is all scratched. Cause she always just chucks it. So I wouldn't be surprised if she did something to the camera and is denying it. So no camera for church camp. Boohoo. And more importantly, no camera for LONDON!!!! How am I suppose to capture all the memories and photoshop them??

So anyone wanna me generous and buy a camera for me? No need memory card. I already have that.

On a lighter note, okay, not much less lighter but at least it doesn't get me pissed off. We are almost done with mid years. Only chem, bio, moral, est and ict left. Judging by chemistry's paper 3 standards, the other 2 shouldn't be as hard as I expect. Bio is okay. Moral is a lost cause. Est and ict are hopefully easy.

Not studying.

Okay, so I SHOULD be studying for mid years but really not in the mood right now. Took this quiz thing to see how much I was worth.
How much are you worth?

Go do it. See how much you're worth.

And if you think you're smart. http://www.genius-test.com/ It's really really hard. I'm still trying.

#1

New blog. Hehe.

Not much to say, but didn't want to see an empty blog. And sejarah and the piano just don't seem appealing to me right now. Went out friday night after sister's classes as had no ballet. Wanted to go mamak but yan didn' want so ended up at paddington's instead. Going up the escalator, was wondering why the music was so noisy. Went to 'kepoh' a bit then found out that Amber Chia was there to see the opening of a new shop.

Went to feast village in starhill last night to 'celebrate' mother's day. The place was quite nice with a wide variety of restaurants. In the end every1 agreed n Lebanese food. Not bad la, tasted pretty much like Indian food.
