namja.

Another year has passed.

And now I can officially say I'm 19. Not that I told people I was 18, just that I would always say I'm 19 this year instead of just 19.

Honestly I never really have expectations for my birthday. I don't expect presents or parties. So it's nice when it does happen =).

Not gonna blog about it in detail cause I'm lazy like that. But I can truly say that my 19th birthday was never what I would have thought it would be.

Can't believe I'm gonna be 20 next year. While aging one year doesn't make that much of a difference, it's the jump away from being a teenager that kinda freaks me out. One day you're a carefree teenager and the next you're suddenly an adult who has to think about responsibilities =S.

Stop time right here anyone?

sajna.

Had lunch today at Chili's, 1U with Caroline, Marcia, Kim, Pam, Lisa, Jun Kit, Sean, Daniel, Ee Tzen and Leon.

I had a pretty entertaining time.

After that Jun Kit&Marcia went against Daniel&Lisa in a game of pool. And I swear the most popular phrase mentioned during the two games was "No pressure". Haha. Don't you think that just gives people more pressure?

Anyways, watched Couples Retreat with Marcia and Caroline. The movie was not bad. Definitely better than I expected. I thought it'd be a lot of slapstick comedy, but I must say there were quite a number of awww inducing moments. Which of course only applied to me and Marcia while we had Caroline giving us a weird look and saying "You two ah."

So yeah, it was a good day.

P.S Thanks for the present people =). There is much "sentimental" value there =P.

carbon monoxide.

Stayed back on Friday to watch Twelfth Night with Lucas, Marcia, Kim and Caroline. Yes, we're lifeless like that. Anyways, the version that we watched in the library isn't that great. Still like the Hollywood version. It's easier to watch for some reason. After the first half hour of Twelfth Night we got bored so skipped on to watch the parts that we wanted.

Went to Midvalley after that. It was Kim's belated celebration. She actually wanted to go to Chilli's but the branch at MV is annoying. They wouldn't let us make a reservation. So in the end went to San Francisco Steakhouse to make a reservation. Then it was walk walk walk until 7.30. Met a bunch of Kim's friends who are mainly from GIS. Let's just say we all saw this new side of Kim that is so different. Okay fine, not that different. But she was SO HYPER. Anyhow, it was fun. =D. Kim is now 17 and on her way to thinking like Caroline. Haha. Only lit people will really understand. Oh well.

Then on Saturday I had to wake up SUPER early. Like 6 am early. Wanna know why??

Because I was going to the zoo. And no, it was not to visit 'relatives'. Raleigh International KL organized this event called Zooriffic where you joined to volunteer at the zoo. Caroline asked me to go so I agreed. Tim tagged along with us too. We were assigned to the bird section of the zoo. While we spent a lot of time just sweeping the enclosure, also got to feed the birds =). Overall it was a good yet tiring experience. My back hurt like hell after that.

Later that night went over to Trixie's to surprise her. It was a relatively funny sight to see 6 people creeping up the stairs and hiding in her room. It would have been a good surprise if not for the fact that Pui Yi's cough gave us away. Then the girls all went back to Melissa's to sleepover. But not before Trixie had a driving lesson with Aleena =P. To Amanda: Trixie's driving is better than yours!!

Woke up for breakfast at Village Park the next morning. And we've realized that there's been a pattern of going to Village Park after a sleepover whenever it's someone's birthday. I got dropped home after that cause my dad wanted me to follow him somewhere. Planning to go to Melissa's place after I'm done with some lit analysis.

Guess where that somewhere was that my dad wanted me to follow him to? Car showroom!! YES! My dad has finally decided to book the car. Hopefully I'll get the car in a week =D. MyVi in Medallion Grey. Actually wanted black but my dad said no.

been here the whole time.

I am tired and sleepy.

So here's just a brief update.

While most A-levels students were done with their exams on Thursday, the poor Further Maths and Lit students had to come back on Friday for their last paper.

Right. I was sooooo happy after Lit ended. Had lunch at this Japanese restaurant next to the bagel place. Hung around college a little while till Caroline was done. After that it was off to Mid Valley. Watched 17 again. It was pretty good. And I must admit, Zac Efron was freaking hot when he got out of his car with the shades on. I think I have a thing for guys with cool cars and shades. Seeing as the only point in Twilight where I thought Robert Pattinson passed as a remarkably hot Edward Cullen was when he got out of the car with his shades.

Anyways. Shopped a little after that for the stuff I need for my ballet concert. And then went to Borders for a while as Caroline said "NO shopping!". Haha. You need to learn to like shopping more.

The real reason we were in Mid Valley is cause we were throwing a surprise early birthday party for Anthea. She's going off to UK for the holidays so can't celebrate with her on the actual day. Enlisted the help of her boyfriend who was pretty nice and accomadating considering he didn't know us at all.

Following pictures stolen off Pam's facebook =D.

We hid behind pillars so that Anthea wouldn't see us. And the waiters were totally laughing at us. But it was fun =P.

Everyone who came except Pam. She took the picture.

Now Lucas takes the picture. Guess who's the more experienced photographer.

Really cool photoshop like picture taken by Caroline.

After dinner went to mamak with Lucas, Daniel, Marcia and Faiz. As most should know, Faiz has left Taylor's cause his brain's too big. Seriously. Well maybe not. He got a scholarship to go to KYUEM so he's leaving us behind.

I swear I haven't laughed so much in one day so hard for such a long time.

That was yesterday. I spent today at HELP. 30-Hour Famine workshop. Yup, organizing it again this year. And once we get the okay for venue, all you Taylor-ians can start registering.

We're combining with the Subang campus and limiting places for the actualy camp itself. So if you want to go, do register as soon as possible. I'll post up details when everything's finalized.

That's about it. A busy two week holiday ahead. Another internship.
