Now for a proper blog post =P.
Got to KL Pac pretty early. About 11.30. Left KL Pac pretty late. About 11.30. Haha, I have never spent so much time there in my life!
I would say I enjoyed myself a lot. The two performances that I enjoyed the most were Tenderfists X Flica and An Honest Mistake. Tenderfists X Flica had really chillax music that I would so download and have on my iPod. And to think that Arthur and I only went in to kill time cause the sun was blazing hot outside and watching this performance meant we could sit inside the air conditioned hall =P. Went to watch An Honest Mistake later in the afternoon and I must say I can see why they're getting so popular. Their original songs are quite catchy and I think I'll buy their CD when it comes out in July =D. The other performances I watched were quite good too but I wasn't really into it as their type of music isn't really my type of music.
There were so many blogshops that set up in Urbanscapes that I think it took me at least an hour to make one full round. I'm not much of a shopper so I skim through clothes pretty quickly which means that it may have been an hour for me, it could have been much much longer had I looked through everything. But, seeing as I had so much time, I made about three rounds under the burning sun.
One thing Urbanscapes had this year that I don't think you'd find anywhere else is the Electric Tea Party. Basically the setup is as below. So whenever you put your hand into one of the cups, it makes a sound. Marcia and I had a go at it. Pretty fun =D.
I'd definitely try and make it for the next Urbanscapes next year and I recommend everyone out there go for it too! Definitely one of the must visits if you're in KL around that time.
P.S I spent so many hours under the sun and guess what? I turned absolutely ZERO shades darker. Sigh, looks like I'll always be so fair.
